DE LOGO
School of Design and Environment (DE) consisted of 4 courses making up both the 'design' and 'environment aspects of the school. Product Design and Innovation, Sustainable Urban Engineering, Real Estate Business and Hotel & Leisure facilities Management. ​This project was to design a logo symbolizing both of the aspects and characteristics of the school. It should also include the iconic colours of DE: green, white, and black.

How might we implement the different parts of DE’s courses into a logo?
INCLUSION OF 'D' & E
With ideas with making both the letters D and E exist in 3D instead of just 2D, ideas of the letters resemble the DE building were generated. Ideas of the DE building itself being a silhouette was the main one that stood out among the rest and it was picked to be developed.
SIHOUETTE OF DE BUILDING
Based on a neutral stance and having DE’s iconic building, its levels and corridors can be interpreted as rays like the faculty or DE students shine. With the final design, it was chosen to be featured on the shirts of Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Product Design and Innovation 2019 Year 1 batch​.
