OMNI Remotes
We collaborated with OMNI remotes who we've partnered with for years to design a synergy between the products of TV experiences: TV Remote, OTT box and TV interface.​

This was the 2nd time I got to design UIUX with Adobe XD and I enjoyed the process of connecting the interaction on the remote with the TV interface.

BUTTON ARRANGEMENT AND DECLUTTER
Existing remotes often have many unnecessary buttons for users like the elderly and children who only need to perform simple tasks like watching live TV or accessing YouTube.
To reduce clutter and improve user flow, buttons are organized based on their functions, relevance, order, and frequency of use, ensuring essential tasks can be completed easily.
REMOTE SHAPE - REDUCING STRAIN DURING USAGE
Providing an intuitive yet comfortable grip, aids in reaching button during usage. It should aid the user to know which direction to hold the remote instinctively for infrared sensor.
Providing internet connection for your favourite shows: OTT Box
OTT BOX - ADAPTABLE YET COMPLEMENTARY
For remote to rest yet able to stand by itself without looking out of place and a product of its own.
FINAL DESIGN DETAILS
FLUSHED NUMBER PAD
Prevent accidental pressing of buttons with flushed number pad. When activated with number button, numbers will light up indicating it is on.
DOUBLE USAGE TOUCH PAD​
For navigation, buttons work as directional and navigation. In video, buttons control parts of media.​

Home button to navigate back easily.
Double rectangle: 1st press for minimized window, 2nd press for maximized window, 3rd press to close window
