Triplet - Relieve stress through musical play

Having busy working lives, the most accessible and convenient way of distraction or relieving stress seems to be through listening to music on transport. How could we educate and extend the potential of music in doing so? Triplet uses the opportunity of high human traffic at common walk roads in CBD areas to provide commuters a way to relieve stress through convenient musical play.

Concept
Having 3 simplified versions of a drum set, double bass, and piano, they vary in tones and types of play. Progress in sound creations motivates and distracts users longer through its easy activation and guidance.

3 FACTORS

Easy to learn how to play

Using familiar behaviors to overcome learning curve of instruments

Can be played while walking by

Activation through simple actions while holding belongings, short of time and focus on destination

Easy to create melodies / improvisations

To use the behaviour of randomness, coordination and discovery into improvisation.

IDEATIONS - MAKE BELIEVE OF OUR SURROUNDINGS

As children, we interact with objects around us, such as gliding our hands along rails, stepping on colored floor tiles, and turning slopes into thrilling experiences. As we grow up, we often forget these small joys. By drawing on these familiar behaviors, elements of play are incorporated to motivate and engage users, providing moments of distraction and enjoyment.
